Getting the birds ready for the busy winter

As the insect quiten down for me this time of year the pest bird activity picks up mainly landfill work. I currently have 3 falcons out flying and a harris hawk to train up ready for the urban work.
The landfill might sound a grim place but the about of wildlife you see, everything from peregrine, kestrels, buzzards, redkites roe deer etc even seen a hobby a few times. But getting back to the work the gulls tend to more back in land over with coller months and they hit every food source they can i.e landfill sites. The one im currently working can have up to 500 gulls and corvid some days and the main aim of the falcons is to keep them at bay while the site is open. The idea is to scare the birds off by flying the falcon but sometimes they will take the odd bird after all its only nature.
My birds im flying at the moment:
​(picture is of my young imprint gyr x saker falcon) She is only a young bird hatched this year currently i just let her do her thing on site, love watching her playing in the wind and chasing the crows around.

Then my male peregrine x saker he does love to chase the gulls around.

Next a female gyr x peregrine X gyr x saker she is a bit of a expert in moving the birds off site and will more than happly take a crow or two down if they dont move.

Then Max he is a 5 year old male harris hawk i recently got him off a friend and is nearly ready to got free.
